As commercially available digital cameras are not optimized for infrared photography, responses of these cameras to infrared light are quite different each other. Actually, I am using four digital cameras as of now (2010) for taking infrared photographs, and among infrared photographs of the same photogenic subject by different cameras difference is clearly seen. It is an interesting character as well as a difficult character in taking an infrared photograph by using a digital camera.
