Though far smaller amount of IR light passes a U-340 filter in comparison with a B+W 403 filter, a photograph which looks as a typical UV photograph is rather difficult to take unless the condition of lights is appropriate. I don’t use a dedicated lens for UV photography but by using an IR blocking filter DR-655 with the UV transparent filter U-340 I was able to take considerably good UV photographs.  The following photographs were taken by using the full-spectrum-converted camera, Olympus E-620fs, with an old Zuiko 50mm/1.8 lens which is not a multi-coated lens, and U-340 and DR-655 filters.
