Fukuroda Fall, etc.
The following pictures are zone plate photographs of Fukuroda fall, Obata craft center of burial mound figures (tumulus period), and Kairakuen garden. Fukuroda fall is located at the northern end of Ibaraki prefecture and famous as one of the three large falls in Japan (the other falls are Nachi fall and Kegon fall). In September 2008 the second viewing floor of the fall was opened and it became easier to look over an entire field of the fall. Though Obata craft center is not a famous sightseeing spot there are 59 kiln ruins which were used for firing burial mound figures and this site is thought as a large industrial site of the tumulus period in the Kanto area.
